The 2026 Underwater Rugby National Championships brought together over 190 athletes across 2 teams to compete at the SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre for the first time.
2026 saw the addition of 3 Women’s teams clubs to the Nationals stage. Pacific Warriors, Sydney Stingrays and Adelaide Dolphins. The Mixed category also gained a new team from the Pacific Warriors club.
A huge thank you to the Adelaide UWR Club as host and major volunteer group to assist with the smooth running of the tournament.
Major acknowledgements to Matt and Gail for the wonderful work with the camera and streaming system. Tait of Canberra UWR for the building and maintaining the referee buzzer system for the tournament.
